A division of Electropedic · Since 1964
Certified organic latex from top to bottom, hand-made one at a time and built to go the distance. Proven on Electropedic adjustable beds for 62 years.
Explore the lineup
Every model is built from stacked 3-inch layers of certified organic latex. Pick the profile, then pick the firmness.
Two 3-inch layers of certified organic latex, quilted on both sides with organic cotton and wool. It gives a direct, supportive latex feel and a slim profile that is easy on an adjustable bed. Completely reversible, with handles, zipper and the 20-year limited warranty.
Three separate 3-inch layers, nine inches of latex inside, let us balance surface comfort with deeper support exactly for your back. It is the model most of our customers choose. Completely reversible, quilted on both sides, with handles, zipper and the 20-year limited warranty.
Twelve inches of latex: 3 inches on top, 6 in the middle and 3 on the bottom, behind three zippers. It is our deepest and most configurable organic mattress. Quilted on both sides, completely reversible, with handles and the 20-year limited warranty.
Choose your firmness
All three models are made in all four firmnesses. Ratings shown for certified organic Dunlop and natural Talalay latex.
Soft is plush pressure relief for side sleepers and lighter frames. It is rated about 65 in certified organic Dunlop, or N2 in natural Talalay. Shoulders and hips sink in while the latex still holds the spine level.
Regular Firm is the middle of the road and the most popular choice for couples. It is rated about 75 in organic Dunlop, or N3 in Talalay. Supportive without feeling hard.
Extra Firm is for back and stomach sleepers who want to lie on top of the mattress. It is rated about 85 in organic Dunlop, or N4 in Talalay. A strong choice for heavier sleepers.
Ultra Firm is orthopedic support for people who have always wanted the firmest bed in the store. It is rated about 95 in organic Dunlop, or N5 in Talalay. Ask about Orthopedic Firm at 110 for even more.
Two kinds of latex
Natural Talalay is light and airy, made in an eight-step process with rated cores. Certified organic Dunlop is denser and firmer, made with no pesticides or fertilizers. We will help you choose the latex that suits your body.
Our story
For 62 years our family has built adjustable beds. The search for a mattress worthy of them led to genuine latex foam, and then to the most beautiful line of organic mattresses we have ever made.
1964
Henry Kraus founded Electropedic in 1964 to build electric adjustable beds, and from the first day he knew a bed is only as good as the mattress on top of it. Innersprings bound and creaked when the bed folded, and foam broke down at the hinge. For 62 years our family has kept one question in front of us: what mattress truly belongs on an adjustable bed?

The discovery
The answer came from the rubber tree. On a trip to Switzerland, Henry slept on a genuine latex foam mattress and woke without his usual back pain, then brought several home, studied them and set out to build them better. Latex made from the milk of the Hevea brasiliensis tree flexes through every bed position, springs back to its original shape and supports the spine for decades, which is why it has been the only adjustable bed mattress we recommend.
The collection
Over the years we moved from natural latex to certified organic latex, then wrapped it in GOTS organic cotton and organic wool. The result is the Organi-Mattress collection: three models, four firmnesses, quilted on both sides and made by hand in our own factory. His sons and grandsons still design and build every one.
On the bed
Head up, feet up, zero gravity or Trendelenburg, a latex organic mattress bends with the bed and never cracks, bunches or develops a soft spot at the fold. There are no coils to fight the frame and no glue to break down. That is why the same company that builds your adjustable bed builds the organic mattress made for it.
Built to last
Seven things we never skip, whichever model or firmness you choose.
Every Organi-Mattress is built by hand, one at a time, by craftsmen who check each layer before the cover is closed. Nothing is mass-produced or shipped compressed in a box. You buy it from the family that made it.
Nine out of ten mattress companies sell a one-sided, half-a-mattress. Ours has a top and bottom that are both sleeping surfaces, so you can flip and rotate it for even wear and twice the life. That is also why our warranty needs no indentation clause.

Both faces are quilted with GOTS certified organic cotton and organic wool. The wool regulates temperature and serves as a natural fire barrier in place of chemical flame retardants. Each side feels the same the day you flip it.
Reinforced side handles make it safe and easy to rotate, flip and position the mattress. Latex is dense and substantial, and the handles let two people turn it without strain. They are sewn in, not stapled on.
.jpg)
The cover zips open so you can see exactly what is inside, swap a layer to change the firmness, or have us service it years from now. Zippers keep the latex breathable and responsive. Within the first 10 days, a firmness exchange is only $89.
Every Organi-Mattress carries a 20-year limited warranty, and because it is completely reversible we do not hold you to a minimum-impression rule. Latex is the longest-lasting mattress material there is. We expect yours to outlive the warranty.

There is no polyurethane foam, no coil unit and no glue inside, only certified organic latex from top to bottom. The latex is made to the Global Organic Latex Standard and wrapped in GOTS organic cotton and wool. Three natural ingredients, nothing more.
Three natural ingredients
Latex is the milk of the rubber tree, whipped into foam and baked into a core that is buoyant, breathable and naturally resistant to dust mites and mold. Ours is certified to the Global Organic Latex Standard. It holds its shape for decades.
GOTS certified organic cotton is grown without pesticides or synthetic fertilizers. We quilt it on both sides of the mattress. It is soft against the skin and lets the latex breathe.
Wool keeps you cool in an Arizona summer and warm in winter, and it meets federal fire codes on its own. That means no chemical fire retardants in your bed. It is the third and final natural ingredient.
Adjustable Beds division
Electropedic has been an electric bed specialist since 1964, and an authorized dealer and service center. Every bed in the lineup pairs with an Organi-Mattress.
The Dawn House is our most advanced home care bed: full hi-low height, head and foot articulation, voice control, a phone-charging console and app-based sleep monitoring. An optional support rail moves with the bed. Paired with an organic latex mattress, it is a medically capable bed that looks like fine furniture.
The Supernal 3 lowers very close to the floor for safe transfers and rises to caregiver height. The 5-motor Supernal 5 adds Trendelenburg and reverse Trendelenburg, with a backlit wireless remote. Both take a 7, 9 or 11-inch organic latex mattress.
The Tuffcare T7036 and T7042 bring full clinical positioning home: hi-low, Trendelenburg and reverse, in 36 and 42-inch widths. A 5-function pendant returns the bed to flat with one touch. An organic latex mattress keeps the sleep surface hypoallergenic and free of chemical off-gassing.

The Electropedic WH2 is our own wall-hugger base with a backlit wireless remote, one-touch zero gravity and dual massage. It carries 850 lbs and a 20-year limited warranty. Twin through Dual King, paired with the organic mattress made for it.
ElectroEase brings the Electropedic family's fully electric 3-motor hi-low beds to homes that need easier transfers and caregiver access. Head, foot and full bed height all move at the touch of a button. Every ElectroEase bed can be fitted with a 7, 10 or 12-inch organic mattress.
The Ascend by Ergomotion adds true hi-low height and up to 7 degrees of full-bed tilt to head and foot articulation, with a Zero Gravity preset and underbed lighting. It looks residential, not clinical. Twin XL through Split King, with an organic latex mattress that flexes through every position.

Hospital beds
Hospital beds use a narrower, longer frame, so we build organic mattresses for them in 7, 9 and 11-inch profiles. They flex with hi-low, Trendelenburg and reverse positions. Clean, hypoallergenic and free of off-gassing for anyone recovering at home.
Factory direct
Factory direct means there is no middleman and no retail markup. We make the organic mattress, sell it in our own showrooms, deliver it with our own crews and stand behind it ourselves. You talk to the people who built it.
Three generations
Henry Kraus started Electropedic in 1964; his son Lloyd and grandson Zachary run it today. Three generations, one family, one factory. Every organic mattress still carries that name.
